My ballerina!

Image
Ballet toes! This is Maddi's Aunt Melissa , her dance teacher What a beautiful ballerina Cousin Hillary working hard! Just look at that form! Maddison has truly loved taking dance from her Aunt Melissa. We drive out to Magrath every week, so it makes for a busy evening....but she really does love it and is working hard to learn ballet after doing 3 years of jazz! She loves being in the same class as her cousin Hillary, they have so much fun together.

all i have to say.... is that i am impressed that my man can grow a full beard in less than 6 weeks. we volunteered to be a part of the live nativity which is put on by the latter-day saint people every year as a gift to the community..... i was mary brian was joseph will was a shepherd this was such a special way to serve our community and be a part of something so much bigger than ourselves... we were reminded that this was the only time some people in the community hear the christmas story! we loved every minute of rehearsal, costume, make-up (even if i was required to wear dangerous amounts of blue eye shadow) AND OF COURSE THE PERFORMANCE ITSELF! ......riding the donkey was exciting okay truthfully it was a little scary! the entire experience truly made me reflect, with gratitude, on the greatness of the christmas story, that mary did ride that donkey for 3 days to get to bethlehem, that jospeh loved mary deeply and did all he co...

Playing Catch up!

The children took part in the cutest Christmas concert I have seen in a long time. It was called "A Country Christmas." We enjoyed so much watching them do their parts so well and must say that we love their little school. Small classes, huge playground, great teachers.....we feel blessed knowing that they will all get to spend their elementary years here!

A SPECIAL DAY!

Image
Our oldest son W ill S cott B oehme was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on November 22, 2008. It was such a special day for Will as he made the choice to follow in the footsteps of the Savior and be baptized into His church. There was a very special feeling as we gathered as family and friends to support Will on his special day. He was all smiles and I could tell he was excited and a little nervous too! These pictures are all before his baptism. It was so busy trying to make sure everything was set with the program and the light dinner following the baptism.....these pictures are all we have of the special day. I love all these little people, they make life so joyful. Truly "children are an heritage of the Lord." I am so grateful for my knowledge that through temple ordinances, families can be together forever.....I can't imagine forever without them! I thought this was a nice family picture.....good thing, cause it w...

Milestone for Emma!

Image
Oh how I love this sweet little girl. She brings so much sunshine into my life! Emma recently reached a big milestone for a 2 year old! SHE IS A BIG GIRL NOW! That's right, this pretty little girl who talks a mile a minutes is out of diapers and staying dry every day! We worked hard at it for about 2 weeks, with not many hopefull moments. I wondered if she'd ever be ready.....but out of the blue one day, she just decided that she wanted to use the toilet and she has been dry ever since. As I look at these sweet pictures of Emma taken by my talented sister Jenny I feel so blessed to have the chance to be Emma's mother. She loves life and helps me to see every day through the eyes of an angel. Emma loves to sing, from the time she was talking she could be found singing in her crib. Emma loves to dance and play dress up, she is the perfect princess! Emma loves to talk, talk, talk, talk, talk and I love to hear all the adorable things she has to say....mostly! I lo...

# 5 boy or girl?

SO. . .many of you out there already know our good news about bAbY#5! I feel badly that I haven't dedicated a post yet to this new life growing inside of me! I think sometimes life just takes over and things get so busy! For all who are wondering, we are finally getting settled here in Lethbridge. We love this beautiful City and look forward to raising our family here close to grandparents, cousins and Aunts and Uncles. We found out we were pregnant right before our big move from Idaho and so we shared with dear friends there VERY EARLY.....our good news! Some would call me crazy, but I wanted to tell them in person and see the excitment in their eyes. How I miss my dear friends from Idaho! So to say that our move was exhausting is kind of an understatment because I was also pregnant and not feeling 100%! But as things have settled down here, and we got the TWIN scare out of the way, I have loved all the changes that come with pregnancy! About a month ago I started feeling movemen...

I love this picture of BEAU! Anneliese, Erika and Seraphina! the crew ethan with his "balloon bottom" stuck in his chair....he thought this was pretty creative! If not for the stealthy cat always on the move, this would have been the perfect Trick or Treating shot at dusk!!!
