Tender Mercy 08.14.2019 Our dear friend David Higginson who was a missionary in our Ward a few years before Will got his call was so kind to clear his schedule to meet Will at the SLC airport, take him out for lunch and then drop him off at the MTC. Here is what he posted about the experience: This is Will Boehme, I met him while I was serving my mission in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada. I had the opportunity today to take Will into the MTC today so that he can prepare for his own mission in Scottsdale, AZ. This is special because August 14th marks another year gone that I began and ended my own mission. . . and it seems like yesterday. I will never forget the experiences I had or the people, like Will and his family, that I met. Amazing how time flies. Good lucky buddy! It really was a tender mercy for us to know that Will wasn't alone as he entered the MTC.
