{Will was ordained to the office of an Elder in the Melchizedek Priesthood by his Father, Brian Boehme, on 31 March 2019} 04.16.2019 It is hard to describe the feelings of sheer excitement and also stress & anxiety we all felt as we waited for Will to receive his mission call. With the change for all mission calls to be emailed instead of mailed as of 2019, the process had been very fast for his friends. As the weeks stretched on it seemed to take an eternity for Wills call to come. I think he waited 2 1/2 weeks for that anticipated email to arrive in his inbox! I remember how thrilling it was when he texted me after heading off to school, that his call had come!! We gathered as family and friends to support him that evening at 6:00pm! Through nerves and shaking hands he read his call..... April 16, 2019 Dear Elder Boehme: You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. ....it has been a very long time since I posted anything on my blog. Life is so busy, and yet I know if I take the time to stop and record what we are doing it will be so worth it in the long run. My husband is a Physiotherapist....a really good one! Of course I think that, but really, his dream for a very long time has been to start his own Physio clinic. BUT... On Sept. 1st CORE MANUAL THERAPY opened it's doors to the public. It was such a whirlwind of renovations, as we did many of them ourselves (and by ourselves I mean Brian and I and the help of his amazing family). Looking back it is truly amazing what we accomplished in just a matter of weeks. Brian has been extremely busy and the business is on it's way up!!!...
See you in two 08.14.2019 Saying goodbye was so hard. We were up very late packing suitcases and making sure everything was set. Very little sleep was had. Those hours together getting everything ready were really special. The time together seemed very sacred, as we worked and soaked up our last hours together. Before we went to sleep, much later than we had anticipated we prayed together, first Mom, then Elder Boehme. It was a moment to never be forgotten. We needed to leave for the Calgary airport at around 2:00 a.m. so there wasn't very much sleep had before our alarms went off to wake everyone up. We decided as a family to all go together. It was a quiet ride. Many emotions filled our hearts. Goodbyes were hard to say to this amazing big brother. He has been such a great leader of the pack. Tears were shed as we watched him walk away and all yelled in unison, "We love you Elder Bo...
